I am a qualified registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have fifteen years experience and knowledge in variety of different areas such as education, further education, primary setting (charitable organisation) , Private Sector, Occupational Health, E.AP programme and Corporate services working with adults, students, adolescents, and couples, which I continue to work on a daily basis. We will work together to identify the right strategy that fits your individual needs; I will suggest positive strategies that you will be able to implement and the outcome being very positive.

Previously I have worked in a classroom environment for nine years with Special Educational Needs Students and creating and delivering interventions and supporting them on a one to one basis. This led me to pursue my career as a counsellor. I have always been passionate and committed to helping and supporting people; knowing that you have contributed in making a difference in their lives is so rewarding.

I have also had experience working in a pupil referral unit with students who display challenging behaviour, social, emotional and mental health issues, working one to one and offering therapeutic strategies. Since then I have also trained as a hypnotherapist, life coach, NLP Practitioner and most recently a Reiki Practitioner. I believe that introducing these additional approaches into each session is effective and successful. This will give the client additional techniques to help them deal with their issues. I have also created and delivered workshops to schools.

My private clinic is situated in a quiet, peaceful location and I provide an environment which is safe, warm, comfortable, and empathic allowing you to explore your feelings and thoughts having an understanding why you feel and think they way you do.
